drjanpatterson.com

I’ve started a personal website. I needed a place to pull together my academic work, interest in essential oils, grief experience, and writing to communicate with others.  So, I’ve started

www.drjanpatterson.com

Here I’ll have a Calendar of Events that will list training and speaking events, and will post information about infectious diseases, Wellness Aromatherapy educational posts, grief resources, and a link to my blog.

After 30 years of doing academic writing, I’m longing to share information about all the tools that are helping me get through this life, as well as current information about emerging infections.

Check it out and let me know what you think!

    1. Hi Pat – So glad you have discovered essential oils! Hope you will subscribe to my Wellness Digest through http://www.drjanpatterson.com. I send out recipes periodically through that, on this blog and also through my Young Living website http://www.yldist.com/janpatterson (can also be accessed through my main website drjanpatterson.com – see the Young Living Oils tab.).
There are some resources for using essential oils in animals that I can point you to if you are interested – I’ll email you directly about that. I diffuse lavender and geranium for calming my dogs, and I have a geranium spray (a few drops of geranium in 10 ml spray bottle diluted w water and a small amt of witch hazel for preservative) that I use for calming also. I use the natural bug repellent that is on my blog for the dogs when they are outside. Don’t know where you live but the mosquitoes have been terrible in Texas this year – they still around.
Congratulations again for discovering EOs !
